Our Reliability
We do not only say
that we have a reliable network, we can PROVE it to you. On this page

Our
network infrastructure is powered by CISCO routers and switches. For our
main fibre-optic connections we use two Cisco 12,000 routers for fastest
packet delivery, efficient and smart routing and for rock-solid stability.
As a matter of fact, our CISCO router has not gone down for the last 750
days (that's over 2 years of uninterrupted, constant routing).
For our network switching, we only use switches of the high-quality brand
Hewlett-Packard. Although these managed switches are highly expensive,
they are cost-effective due to their unmatched reliability and speed.
We
do not perform daily backups as many other providers do. We perform IMMEDIATE
BACKUP. Imagine you have just put in all your free time to work on your
website. Then suddenly, due to a server harddisk crash all your work is
lost since your webhosts last backup is older than 24 hours! To assure
that this will never happen to you, we always do *immediate* backups via
RAID-0 and RAID-5 interfaces.
The robust exterior-independent design of our data center allows us to
serve the needs of our clients regardless of what happens in the outside
world. Our facility is climate sealed from the outside and climate controlled
from the inside to ensure maximum security against server heat-outages.
Even thunderstorms or hurricanes cannot hurt us. They've been here, done
that and not a single of our server was ever affected.
Anti-Hacking Security - Has your webhost been hacked
before? Did you lose all your files and valuable information? Avoid being
hacked again! We use TWO firewalls (preliminary and on-network firewall)
and since we do not allow any kind of shell access to any part of our
network, your website is in very good hands.
